Getting started 6 questions

What can I manage with invo.pk?

Make bills, track stock, manage customer udhaar and supplier records, and review business reports. You can also manage branches and staff access. Available features and limits depend on your plan; tell our team what your business needs before choosing.

Is invo.pk suitable for my type of business?

invo.pk supports product-selling businesses, wholesalers and businesses that include services on their bills. You can sell pieces, measured quantities and supported packs. Try your own daily tasks during the trial and ask us about any special requirement before moving your live billing.

Can I use it without accounting or computer knowledge?

You do not need to be an accountant to make a bill, check stock or record a customer payment. Start with the tasks you already do each day. Our team can help with setup and questions; your accountant can still help you check opening balances and tax requirements.

How does the 90-day free trial work?

Create an account to start a 90-day trial without a credit card. Add your products and try your normal business tasks. Our team can help with setup. Check the pricing page or contact us to confirm the features and limits that apply to your business.

What happens when my trial ends?

Discuss the current plans, price and limits with our team before your trial ends. Choose based on your products, branches, staff and required features. Do not assume every trial feature will remain available on every plan; confirm what will apply to your account.

Can I bring my existing products, stock and customer balances into invo.pk?

Products can be added individually or imported using the supported file format. Opening stock and customer opening balances help you start from your existing records. Check your product list, quantities and balances first, and ask our team for help before a large import.

Devices, language & internet 6 questions

Can I use invo.pk on my phone, tablet or computer?

Yes. Open invo.pk in a browser on your phone, tablet or computer. A larger screen can be useful for a busy counter, while a phone is convenient for checking your business. Test the device and browser you plan to use, especially if you need printing or offline billing.

Do I need a barcode scanner or receipt printer?

No. You can start with your existing device, search for products and download invoices. A compatible scanner and receipt printer are optional. Ask our team about your device and printer before buying hardware; browser and printer compatibility can differ.

Can my staff use English, Urdu or Roman Urdu?

The portal supports English, Urdu and Roman Urdu. Staff can use the available language options, and our team can provide setup help in English and Urdu over WhatsApp. Business names and product descriptions remain the text you entered.

Can I make sales when the internet stops working?

Offline POS can keep recording sales on a prepared device when offline access is enabled for your business. It uses the catalogue already saved there. Initial setup, refreshing cloud records and sending pending sales to the server need internet. Confirm offline access with our team before relying on it.

What should I prepare before using offline POS?

While connected, confirm offline access is enabled, open the correct branch POS and let its catalogue finish downloading. Prepare each device separately. Do a practice check before a busy day, and do not clear browser data while that device has pending sales.

How do I know whether my offline sales have synced successfully?

Check the device's pending-sales and sync status after reconnecting. A sale saved locally is not the same as a sale accepted by the server; an offline receipt may use a temporary reference. Review any sync errors before clearing the device or assuming all cloud reports are up to date.

Sales, payments & receipts 6 questions

How do I make a bill?

Open POS, search for a product or scan its barcode, and add the required quantity. Select a customer when needed, check the total and record how the customer paid. Complete the sale, then use the available receipt or invoice options.

Can I sell an item or service that is not in my product list?

Yes, when custom items are allowed for your account. Enter the description and price for work, delivery or another uncatalogued item. Custom lines do not deduct stock from a catalogued product, so use the product entry when you need stock tracking.

Can I give a discount?

Yes, using the discount options allowed by your account settings and role. Check the final amount before completing the bill. Owners should review discount permissions and limits so staff use discounts according to the business's rules.

Which payment methods can I record?

Record Cash, Card, Bank Transfer, Easypaisa and JazzCash, including supported split payments on a bill. invo.pk records how you were paid; it does not itself move money between bank or wallet accounts. Confirm the actual payment with your provider before marking it received.

Can a customer pay part now and the rest later?

Yes. Select the customer's account, record the amount received and leave the remaining amount as due. The unpaid amount appears in that customer's khata. Later payments should be recorded against the outstanding balance rather than creating another sale.

Can I print receipts, download invoices and handle customer returns?

Yes. Use the available receipt, A4 invoice and PDF options for a saved sale, and record a return through the supported return workflow. Printing depends on your device and printer setup. Do not delete or recreate a sale to handle a return; use the proper workflow so stock and balances stay consistent.

Customer khata & udhaar 6 questions

Can I keep a separate khata for each customer?

Yes. Create a customer account and select it when recording credit sales or payments. This keeps that customer's unpaid bills and balance together. Check that you selected the correct customer before completing a sale or recording money received.

Can I enter money a customer already owes me?

Yes, use a customer opening balance for debt from before you started using invo.pk. Enter it once and check it against your old records. Do not also create a new sale for the same old debt, or you will count it twice.

How do I record a payment against a customer's balance?

Open the customer's account and use the payment or collection workflow. Enter the amount actually received and the payment method. Review the updated balance afterwards. This reduces existing debt; it should not be entered as a new product sale.

Can I record money a customer pays in advance?

Yes. A customer advance is separate from money they still owe. Record it against the customer's account and use the supported advance-payment option when billing later. Check the available advance before applying it, especially when several staff members use the same customer account.

Can I give customers a statement of their transactions?

Yes. Use the available customer statement options to review and share their records. Check the customer and date range first. A statement helps explain the balance; keep records of the payments actually received as well.

How do returns or cancelled sales affect customer balances?

Use the supported return or void workflow so the customer's amount due and stock are adjusted together. Any money already received needs the appropriate refund treatment. Do not cancel and return the same sale twice, and check the customer's balance after processing it.

Stock, suppliers & branches 6 questions

Can I track stock and see which products need reordering?

Yes. Recorded sales and stock movements update your stock records, and low-stock alerts help identify products needing attention. Set suitable reorder points for your products and keep purchases, returns and adjustments recorded. Offline or unrecorded activity can mean cloud stock is not yet current.

Can I sell in pieces, kilograms, litres or metres?

Yes. Choose the product's unit when setting it up. Measured products can use fractional quantities, while pieces use whole numbers. Check the unit and price before importing or selling products so quantities and stock values mean the same thing.

Can I sell both individual units and packs?

Supported products can have packs with their own size, price and barcode, while stock is kept in base units. For piece products, enable the relevant business setting before adding new packs. Define pack sizes carefully and confirm the setup before using it for loose units and full packs.

Can I record purchases and supplier balances?

Yes. Use supplier records, purchase orders, goods received notes and the supported supplier-payment workflows. Keep the goods you ordered separate from the goods actually received. This helps you check deliveries, stock costs and what you owe suppliers.

Can I record a delivery that arrives in several parts?

Yes. Record the quantities actually received through the goods received workflow rather than marking the whole order delivered early. Later deliveries can be recorded separately. Review the remaining order quantity and supplier records after each receipt.

Can I manage multiple branches and transfer stock between them?

Yes. View branch sales and stock, assign staff to the appropriate branch and use stock transfers for goods moved between locations. Branch and staff allowances depend on your plan. Confirm your required setup with our team before adding locations.

Reports, staff, safety & support 6 questions

Can I see sales, expenses and profit separately?

Yes. The available reports distinguish sales from costs, expenses and profit. Money collected is not always the same as sales or profit, especially with customer udhaar. Keep product costs and expenses recorded, then compare the same branch and date range when checking figures.

Can I download reports for my accountant?

Use the available export options on the report you need. Formats vary by report. Select the correct branch and date range before downloading, and ask your accountant which records they need. An export does not replace checking the completeness of your business records.

Can I give staff separate accounts and limit their access?

Yes. Give each person their own account and choose the Admin, Branch Manager or Cashier role that suits their work. Assign the correct branch and review access when duties change. Cashiers do not have the same management access as owners; choose from the roles and settings the system supports.

How is my business data protected?

invo.pk uses encrypted connections and role-based access to business records. Use a strong password, individual staff accounts and only the access each person needs. Keep copies of important reports for your own records, and contact our team for details about data handling, backups and recovery.

What is needed to use FBR digital invoicing?

Your business needs the relevant registration, credentials and configuration before using the integration. Discuss your requirements with our team and your tax adviser. Software access does not register your business with FBR, and an offline sale is not proof that FBR has accepted an invoice.

How can I get setup help or support?

Contact our team through WhatsApp or the contact page. Tell us what you are trying to do, your device and any error message; hide sensitive customer details in screenshots. We can help with setup and questions. Ask the team about current support availability and any training arrangements you need.
