A visible order pipeline
Check orders awaiting approval, ordered quantities and deliveries still outstanding. This helps the person buying goods and the person receiving them work from the same record instead of relying on a forwarded message.
FROM YOUR SUPPLIER TO YOUR STOCK ROOM
Know what you asked for, what actually arrived and what you still owe. Keep purchases, stock receipts and supplier payment records connected.

Order → Receive → Record payment
Different steps. One connected record.
A supplier sends part of an order today and promises the rest later. One invoice is still unpaid, another has a payment against it, and a damaged item needs to go back. A single notebook total makes these details hard to untangle. invo.pk separates each step so you can check the delivery without losing track of the supplier account.
HOW IT WORKS
Create a purchase order with the supplier, receiving branch, products, quantities and agreed costs. Use the approval workflow where required. An order records the intention to buy; it is not evidence that the goods are already in stock.
Create a goods received note for the quantities delivered. If only part of the order arrives, receive that part rather than marking the whole order complete. The receiving record connects the delivery to stock, so the counter sees the goods you have actually entered.
Record supplier payments and review the remaining balance. If goods must go back, use the purchase-return workflow instead of editing the original delivery to hide what happened. Keep the original order, receipt and return trail available for review.
THE EVERYDAY DETAILS
Check orders awaiting approval, ordered quantities and deliveries still outstanding. This helps the person buying goods and the person receiving them work from the same record instead of relying on a forwarded message.
Use whole pieces for piece-based products and supported measured quantities for products sold by weight, volume or length. Where packs are configured, review the base quantity and per-unit cost before confirming a receipt.
Review supplier account activity rather than just asking for one final number. Opening balances, purchases, payment entries and returns matter when reconciling a statement. Keeping these records current makes the next supplier conversation more useful.
A FAMILIAR SITUATION
The example order is for 20 units. The supplier delivers 12 today. Record the 12 received and keep the other 8 visible as outstanding on that order. The purchase order should not put all 20 on the shelf before the delivery arrives.
BEFORE YOU START
YOUR QUESTIONS
No. A purchase order records what you intend to buy. Record goods actually delivered through the goods-received workflow so the receiving quantities are connected to stock.
Yes. Receive the quantities that arrived rather than the full order. The order can remain partially received while the remaining goods are outstanding.
Use the purchase-return workflow and review its stock and account effects. Do not quietly change the original receipt just to make the earlier delivery look different.
